Victoria Monét And John Gaines Confirm Breakup

We’re sad to report that Grammy-award-winning singer Victoria Monét and her former companion and father of her toddler, Hazel Monét Gaines, have broken up.

Although the net has speculated their break up for pretty some time, Victoria Monet and John Gaines haven’t confirmed the highest of their relationship until now. In a joint assertion shared by means of social media, they every confirmed that they broke up ten months prior to now and have been attempting to cope with co-parenting their 2-year-old daughter, Hazel.

The assertion shared on X (Twitter) reads, “We spent the ultimate ten months attempting to respectfully and privately navigate the reality that we’re not in a relationship. Though we nonetheless absolutely adore and respect each other, we aren’t a pair anymore.”

The pair well-known that no drama or toxic conduct contributed to their break up; they grew apart and wish to cope with their rising journeys. “We nonetheless assume the world of each other and performance with love in every interaction for our family. We now have an unimaginable daughter to carry for all instances and that is undoubtedly our primary priority eternally. No relationship standing can take away or change that actuality. We’re devoted to doing the interior work and perception that God will place us every the place we belong in due time,” the assertion continues.

Regardless that they aren’t married, they’re proud dad and mother to their solely toddler, Hazel Monét Gaines, born in 2021. In a September 2021 interview with ESSENCE, Monét shared that marrying Gaines is “the plan, for sure.” She continued, We’re absolutely in love and having enjoyable with our new chapter … [Hazel has] really obtained him wrapped around her finger, and I’ve seen him change in methods by which I do know he didn’t depend on. She’s rising us up.”

We wish them the easiest as they proceed navigating their separate lives and co-parenting.
