Three males have been arrested in reference to a lethal home explosion in Newcastle.
Seven-year-old Archie York and Jason Legal guidelines, who was in his 30s, had been killed following the blast in Violet Shut, within the Benwell and Elswick space of the town in October.
Police stated on the time that six others had been taken to hospital “with various accidents” after the blast and subsequent fireplace.
Three males – two of their 30s and one in his 50s – have been arrested on suspicion of two counts of manslaughter, and the manufacturing of a Class B drug, specifically hashish, Northumbria Police stated.
All of them stay in police custody.
Detective Chief Inspector Katie Smith stated: “This has been a very tragic incident which resulted within the lack of two lives.
“Because of our ongoing enquiries, three males have at present been arrested in reference to the explosion.
“Our investigation will stay ongoing as we search to supply solutions to what has occurred.
